I don't care what anyone says! I LOVE HILLARY!!! And it's not because she has the same birthday as me, or that she has the ever-loving confidence to wear a pant suit in public. She is smart and knows what this country needs to get back on its feet!

Democrats unite! Let's rally behind Obama and make this administration the best it can be!

I used to think that the two singers of this theme song were Mr. Keaton (Michael Gross) and Jennifer Keaton (Tina Yothers). The girl singing sounds about 5. It's really weird hearing the two of them singing a love song to each other.....kinda freaky!

I still liked the show though. My favorite was Mallory (played by the great Justine Bateman). They don't make shows like this anymore :(

I'm sure many of you have heard this or tried it once or twice, but did you know that you can actually sync the music from Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon" to "The Wizard of Oz" from beginning to end? It's really a very cool thing to watch!

My favorite portion is the tornado scene using "The Great Gig in the Sky". It almost goes in sync too perfectly! I can never get tired of seeing it.

If you care to try it at home, what you need to do is start the very first track of the album after the 2nd lion's roar in the very beginning of the movie. You will notice in the beginning that nothing too exciting happens. It really starts to kick in once you get into "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Do we think this a coincidence? Or totally planned? I'm not exactly sure....all I know is that it's very cool to watch. Try it!

Remember the Madonna/Missy Elliot gap commercial?? Well, the great French and Saunders spoof once again with a parody of the "not-so-successful" campaign, in addition to the Britney/Madonna "Me Against the Music" video. This is absolutely hysterical! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I am willing to BET that a lot of you won't remember this one....

I used to watch this show every morning before school in third grade.....Was I alone???? Do tell!!!

For those of you who don't know, the Democratic National Convention began last night in Denver. Last night's speaker was the possible new first lady Michelle Obama, who did a terrific job. I found her speech to be inspiring!

You knew this was coming sooner or later ;) Makes you want to grab a beer and put a latex glove on it, then wave goodbye to it. Ahhhh Laverne, you're so special ;)

I always wondered how she had the patience to keep that stupid "L" on all her outfits. What if Shirley wanted to borrow one of her tops?? Oh, what pickle she'd be in.....

I really love when people are on the spot and have to keep a straight face. It's so difficult, especially when something is truly funny and you can retain yourself. It's my favorite to see newscasters break, since they have to be so stern most of the time.

This isn't exactly a good example, but it's still really funny. My favorite moment is :56 seconds into it. Makes me laugh every time!

This is brilliant! This person took the Disney classic "Mary Poppins" and twisted it around to make it look scary. What a wonderful job he did!! I especially loved the fade in with her appearance riding in with her umbrella.....so creepy!

Here's two people you'd never think to see on stage together - The great James Brown and Luciano Pavarotti. Both have passed on (God rest their soul) but this is actually a really good compilation!

I saw James Brown just a month or so before he died at the "House of Blues" in Atlantic City. He moved like a 25 year old! I was super impressed with his talents and really enjoyed the show. He is a true legend and I still love his music!

Who remembers this game??? I sure do!! Not only was it the best Nintendo game EVER, but the music was actually pretty cool!

That being said, I stumbled across this clip of a string quartet playing a medley from all the games combined. It is one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Check it out!

I was hoping for Hillary to be the running mate, but I guess this will do :-( I don't know much about this guy. Feel free to educate me on his beliefs and previous successes.

I used to love this show! I always wondered though why they never showed Kimberly's bedroom, and she always had to make her appearance through the bathroom. For a long time, I thought she slept there!

Remember this show???? I used to watch it every Saturday at 5PM, then "What's Happening Now" would follow immediately after. I used to get so annoyed with VICI's mono-toned voice. Being the observant kid that I was, I wondered why she couldn't talk normal when she could do everything else normal. I guess that's TV for ya!

So, you may have guessed that I am a fan of "I Love Lucy" by now. That being said, I've posted another one of my favorites.

I used to love this show!!! I remember getting the sword for Christmas and being so disappointed that it didn't grow! It just made this silly sound with the eye in the center constantly changing back and forth.

Anywho, watching this reminds me of being in first grade and coming home from school....AHHHH those were the days. No responsibility!!

Being a Madonna fan, I like finding old video clips/sound samples of music she's done in the past. Here is one I ran across from her days in the band "Emmy". The song featured here is called "Shine a Light", which has a really catchy beat. I would love to get my hands on the actual single. LOVE this beat...don't you??

I love little babies....but these babies are especially cute!!!! Listen to their little laughs...it's seriously the CUTEST THING EVER!!!! They sound like little elves!!

A little over a month ago, our very own Sue Simmons (who I've grown up watching on the news front) dropped a major F-Bomb on national TV. This is worth repeating over and over again! It's like watching a car accident...

I used to watch this show every week! A friend of mine suggested I use this song today, and what a great theme it is!

For those of you who know me, you know that one thing that I do love is commercials. I mean, I don't watch the Super Bowl for the sport! I look forward to all those commercials that premiere during the duration of the game. The best spots get released then, and boy, are they great!

To me, I feel that commercials are absolutely brilliant! What a great way to get your message out there to an audience within a 30 second timeframe. It's so interesting to see ways how advertisers use this time in the most clever ways possible!

One of my recent favorites is the GEICO commercials. This one in particular features the 1970's "Love Boat" regular, Charo. I just love it!

Today's theme song is from the 1970/1980's TV show "One Day at a Time". I saw Valerie Bertinelli on TV early this morning, which made me think to use this as my theme for the day. Enjoy ;)

This show is long gone, but is seriously one of the best shows ever made on television. If you ever get the chance, buy the box sets (only 3 seasons), or borrow them from a friend. I did ;)

I've attached an episode with the funny and talented Liza Minnelli. She was soooo funny on this show. Keep in mind, when watching this clip, her character has Vertigo. It's a running joke during her time on the show and makes for great humor!

The rest of the cast is amazing!!! The writers are genius! Make sure you really check it out!

I'm so excited.....I'm so excited that Jesse Spano decided to sing this song while taking her Caffeine pills!!! Love you Jess! You were great in "Showgirls"....or was she? I've never seen it.....

Ok, this is borderline creepy, but it's one of those instances where you can't help but watch it. Anyway, it's kinda funny too, and the music is strangely catchy. SOOOO catchy that I found myself singing it while cleaning my kitchen last night ;)

The name is "Indian Thriller" (the Indian version of Michael Jackson's "Thriller"), and I took the liberty of including the version with the "subtitles"....well, it isn't really a translation. It's more of what the producer of the video thought he was saying. He used it in a literal sense.

OK, I don't know about you, but I am REALLY excited about the new 90210. In the original, I was a huge fan of Brenda (played by the lovely, but "difficult to work with" Shannen Doherty). When she left, the show was NOT the same. I am pleased to announce that she will be returning in the 2.0 series.

I've attached a clip for the earlier years of "1.0" where Brenda catches Dylan & Kelly (played by Jennie Garth, who will also be returning as a regular) leaving a restaurant together.

If you are younger than 25, you PROBABLY won't remember this. It's SOOOOOOO 80's....gotta love the hair! They all look like my sister did on her best day!

Here's my question: If Jem was Jericha too, and they both had the same boyfriend, why would they still date the same guy (Rio) when they knew in reality that he was a two-timing whore? What in the world were they trying to teach us kids?? Lesson learned?? Maybe, if you were into that sort of thing....

In my opinion, this is funnier than the "Vitameatavegiman" and the "chocolate/conveyor belt" episodes. Lucy writes an operetta in order to save money for her woman's club annual play. She intended to play the part of the angenue (did I spell that right?), but since her singing voice is "less than adequate", she is cast as the gypsy queen. It makes me laugh every time I watch it.

Don't pay attention to the spanish subtitles, LOL.

I LOVE this spoof on MAD TV of Whitney & Bobby, performed greatly by the talented Debra Wilson & Aries Spears. It's so funny, I can watch it over and over again!

I know that I can be behind the times when it comes to certain things, but I just discovered this song very recently, and boy do I LOVE IT!!!!!! It makes me wanna drive around in my blue Honda Civic (her name is Selena) and just BLAST it!! Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!!!!

Ok....sooooo....this is my very first blog......EVER!!! I was trying to think of the most random thing to start with, and what better to do it by showing my love for, no other than, XANADU!!! I was born for this musical! YES, it was a total flop in the box office, but the music has become quite a sensation! The roller disco, the glitz, the glamour, and my personal favorite......(drumroll please)............OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN!!!! She rocks....BIG TIME!!!!!



Ok, so you must hear of my first memories of Xanadu....I was 3 years old and home all the time with my mother, while my father was at work and my older brothers and sisters were off to school. My mother would be upstairs doing some housecleaning, and I'd be downstairs in the family room watching movies. She'd give me "Mary Poppins" or "Popeye" to watch. I'd push them away and ask for ( you guessed it) XANADU!!! I dreamed of dancing up and down the street in my sister's roller skates with light radiating from my body, just like ONJ! It was all I really wanted in life....
